You ready for #GameDay?
I’ve already talked a little about being a Razorback fan, but I haven’t told ya’ll the back story. And since our first game is coming up on Saturday, I thought it would be fun to share how it all started. Before coming to college and for at least my freshmen year, I never paid attention to college football. I was definitely more of a soccer girl until the Razorbacks started to win…lol! My group of friends started following the game, having watch parties, and all of a sudden, I fell for the Razorbacks football team! Our senior year, we decided to go to the homecoming game, and I think this was the first time I experienced culture shock. The South takes GameDay to a whole other level! I was mostly taken back by how people dressed to go to a game. In Honduras, you would rarely ever see someone in a dress or romper in a stadium. So I obviously dressed for warmth aka not cute at all, and when I saw the girls dressed to the nines, I was like get me to the nearest mall asap! I thought about changing my whole outfit but only got some cute Steve Madden boots that made the outfit look a little more put together. Thinking back on it, I wish I would have stuck to my original outfit instead of trying to fit in. Hindsight is 20/20, right? I think it goes without saying that the first outfit in this post is my favorite and probably what I would wear now. I also included the romper in case you want to dress it up a little more (sorry, not many pics bc it started to rain :/ ). Whatever your style, just remember to do you boo <3.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week!
