Hot Springs, Arkansas
I mentioned on my IG stories that the trip we took was to Hot Springs, Arkansas for a wedding. The town is famous for (you guessed it) its hot springs and being a hideaway for Al Capone.
If you ever visit, you will see tons of bath houses, which come to find out someone actually scrubs you down. Definitely not my jam lol! But heard great things about them. Try the baths and you will be in great company, including Franklin Roosevelt and Babe Ruth.
The hotel did not have straight hallways, because according to the tales, the bends made it easier to escape. Don’t really know how true that is but there’s a lot of history around the Arlington Hotel that you can read up on. I will say that it is a very old hotel (opened in 1924) and has renovated here and there but has mostly preserved it’s historic charm. You even get actual keys at check-in! It’s definitely a must if you are a history buff!
Have you been to Hot Springs, AR? Let me know what was your favorite part in the comments!
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a great Tuesday!
