Black and Blacker
While shooting this outfit, I definitely got a couple of stares and weird looks…always makes me crack up! No, it’s definitely not cold enough in Houston to wear this outfit, but over-the-knee boots are back this season, and they needed to be blogged about. This year, they came back better than ever. We’ve seen them in suede, denim, velvet, knit, lycra…I could go on and on. Mine are from two years ago. I was so afraid I wasn’t going to find them in stock, but to my surprise, they are fully stocked at 6pm.com. If you are petite, get your hands on a pair of these. They will be the best fitting over-the-knee boots you’ll find with a good price tag to match. Last year, I tried Steve Madden’s and ASOS’s over the knee boots. They didn’t even compare in fit and quality to the Sarena’s. The Steve Madden’s were wayyy too long, not petite friendly at all. However, I will say that this year a lot of bloggers are raving about their otk boots. Maybe they redesigned them, but if I were you, I would try them on in-store before purchasing.
Going back to what’s new in the otk world this season, I’m definitely trying to get my hands on a couple of the new styles. Mostly the velvet in a ballet flat pink and knit in a nude color. Browsing Instagram, I found this new site that has trendy boots at great prices. Have you tried them? I’m thinking of placing an order but need to do a little more research on their quality.
Thanks for stopping by!
