Grand Velas Hotel Review
A couple of weeks ago, I was in Mexico for work so today’s post will be all about the hotel and its accomodations. You can see some pictures of the resort/views on my Instragram (@brittanypuerto). As you can tell by the title, the hotel is Grand Velas, an all-inclusive resort located in Puerto Vallarta. Below are my thoughts on out stay.
Accomodations
Two of my co-workers and I shared the governor’s suite. It has two bedrooms, three baths, dining room, living room, bar, and a hot tub. The suite was nice and spacious. Oh, and one bathroom for each girl was just perfect!
Pool/Beach
I think all of us that went would agree that having the pool right beside the beach was amazing. The views were incredible and we would all congregate around the same area. Just fyi, the beach isn’t crystal clear. If you want white sand and clear beaches, visit Roatan, Honduras :).
Food
To be 100% honest, I was not a fan. There were two things I really, really liked, their strawberry banana smoothie and some bread that had cheese in it. Everything else didn’t impress me at all. There are three restaurants: Piaf (French), Lucca (Italian), and Frida (Mexican). These are the only ones open at night so make sure to make your reservation in advance. Azul is a buffet and Selva del Mar is a snack bar (open during the day).
Service
Favorite aspect of the hotel. It is absolutely the best! The staff goes out of their way to make sure you are as comfy and happy as possible.
The hotel also has a gym and a beautiful spa. In case you wanna get your work out or relaxation on. LOL Personally, I didn’t set foot in the gym but it looked pretty big for a hotel gym. The spa, though. It is gorgeouss!! Definitely a must try! Is it weird that I LOVE the warm slippers?? Haha!
Thanks for stopping by! It’s almost the weekend!!
