Elf on the Shelf and other Christmas Traditions I didn’t Know About
Most of you know I was born and raised in Honduras and moved to the US for college. Now, I live here full-time and this will be our second Christmas spent in Texas. It’s always fun to be here to see and hear about traditions you’ve only seen on TV. So today’s post is a little different and little more fun than my usual outfit posts. We’re talking some those traditions that had me like whaa? when I first came here :).
Elf on the Shelf – I gotta be honest and tell you this is the first year I hear of it! Not sure if it’ a newer tradition but I’ve had fun seeing all the places the Elf goes.
Christmas letters – Coordinating outfits and taking pictures? Yes, please! Probably my favorite and something I will totally do!
Gingerbread Houses – Have you seen some of these houses? They are taller than I am! People are so creative.
Mistletoe – Do people this do this?
Cookies and Milk for Santa – Another one I can get on board with! I’ll probably have one or two for myself…don’t tell Santa!
What are your family Christmas traditions? Do tell!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great Thursday!
