My Best Shopping Tips
Since we are only a some days away from the biggest shopping events of the year, today’s post is all about how I prepare for Black Friday & Cyber Monday. I have braved the crowds multiple times and have learned a thing or two about Black Friday. Cyber Monday is way easier but harder to shop if you have an 8-5. So here are my best Black Friday & Cyber Monday shopping tips.
One – If you can, always try to shop online! Even for Black Friday. In Houston, the malls are extra packed. It can even take you 30 minutes just to find parking. A lot of stores have the same deals online as they do in-store. This way you avoid the lines, crowd, and save precious time.
Two – Besides avoiding the crowd and lines, another great reason for shopping online is that you get cash back with Ebates. What’s better than making money while you shop? If you haven’t, sign up here.
Three – Find a shopping buddy and head out early. You want to be the first ones at the store. My mom and I always go Black Friday shopping together. We help each other find what we are looking for and she stands in line while I shop or vice versa. Checkout lines can get pretty long and can quickly discourage you from buying the items you spent an hour searching for…no bueno. Plus shopping is always fun with a friend.
Four- Scope out all the deals before heading out and plan your route. Know exactly what you are looking for and head straight to those items. Big ticket items sell out fast, go for those first. Same with Cyber Monday, go to bed a little late or get up a little early to shop the best deals. Amazon should be your first stop.
5 – Always set a budget. It’s easy to get carried away with all the deals so you need to know what you are getting and how much you plan to spend. It’s all about the planning!
*Bonus tip – wear comfy clothes! Kicks and leggings for the win!
Those are my tips guys! I will be having a post up with my favorite sales/deals early Black Friday morning.
Have a great Tuesday! Thanks for stopping by!
