Sephora’s Beauty Insider sales are my favorite. It’s the perfect chance to get makeup, skincare, and perfumes that never go on sale. This go round I choose to use my discount on skincare. For the past year, I have been looking for products that would help my skin but nothing has really helped. I’ve tried Philosophy, Paula’s Choice, Lush, Embryolisse, and drugstore products. The Philosophy cleanser was too gentle for my skin, I didn’t feel like it cleansed. Paula’s Choice seemed to be working great until it started to dry out my skin. I started getting dry patches and my face felt super tight. From Lush, I tried the Ocean Salt Scrub, the Tea Tree toner, and and the Enzymion moisturizer. They didn’t do anything at all, to improve or worsen. The Embryolisse moisturizer was to heavy for my skin type. I tried all these products to get rid of texture and breakouts. Nothing was working and I was starting to get frustrated.
Saturday, I was watching TiffanyD’s YouTube video on items she recommended buying during the sale. She mentioned Sunday Riley and how all their products are worth the money (they’re expensive!). Tiffany raved about the Good Genes and the Luna Night Oil. Since I was looking to change my skincare routine and I could get 15% off, I decided to give them a try. I went on the Sephora site and did a little more research to find a cleanser to go along with the moisturizers. The Ceramic Slip Clay Cleanser had great reviews and so I decided to get it as well. Since the items are more expensive, I would have ordered them online to take advantage of the discount and Ebates to get some money back but I was running out of cleanser. So I bought everything in store on Sunday. I used them last night, and so far, so good!
